Orbis Glitch PQ Guide

Introduction

Orbis Glitch PQ is a PQ where by you clear up to 6x in a single stage. You can do up to 18x in a Orbis Glitch PQ if I am not wrong. It is a bug made by Nexon which enables glitch via the “Party Leader” function.

You need to know which cable connects internet from your modem to your com or vice versa. That particular cable is the cable you need to plug out inorder to glitch.

When your party member passed you the leader role, you plug out the wire(as mentioned above) and start passing leader to the next person who is going to glitch, or the Last Clicker(LC). Then you quickly click the cloud TWICE and plug in the wire fast to prevent disconnection.

Plug Wire >> Change Party Leader >> Click Cloud Twice >> Plug In Wire >> Wait for LC to Clear >> DONE!

Infomations About Last Clicker

Last clicker is the easiest role in the GPQ, even a non-glitcher can do so as long as they know when to clear. They need to wait for the other 5 glitchers to finish glitching, then they click on the cloud to clear after confirming that the party members are done. Never ever try to confirm and ask ask ask. These will only result in a penalty.

HP WASHING GUIDE (by RoyalCatManDo of the SleepyWood Forums)

Introduction

My my, this topic has been coming up far too often lately for my tastes, so I’ve decided to make a thread to end all HP Washing questions.

Hopefully this will remain on the front-page for long enough to quell the tide of “How much can I wash at?” questions, if only for a short while.

What is HP Washing?
HP Washing is the process by which, a character loses MP and gains HP. This works because HP and MP have a common Ability Point (AP) pool.
You need to spend a lot of real life money on AP Resets from the Cash Shop in order to HP Wash.

How does one HP Wash?
You need spare AP in order to to HP Wash.
The game won’t let you put points into HP if they were gained using an AP Reset. You can only allocate points into HP (And MP, for that matter) if you have AP from leveling up.

To HP Wash, put 1 AP into HP and then use an AP Reset from the Cash Shop on MP. It’ll let you.
Put the point into whatever stat you want (Except for HP/MP*). Those should be either STR or DEX.

*You can’t wash circularly. You cannot: Put a point in HP > AP Reset out of MP > The same point goes back into HP, repeat.

The game will only let you take a point out of MP as long as you have 148+Level*14 base MP or more.
That means that if at level 120 you have 1828 MP, you can wash, but if you only have 1827 MP, it won’t let you take a point out of MP.

How much do you gain/lose?
For every point you put into HP, you gain 18 HP (On average) and for every point you take out of MP, you lose 12 MP (On average).
On average, at level 120~ people can wash around 13 times. That means, that for the price of 13 AP Resets you gain around 240 HP and lose 156 MP.

How HP Washing works and how to get the most out of it.
HP Washing works by taking your “spare” MP (All MP gained above the 14 MP minimum with 4 base INT) and turning it into HP.
It has been proven that leveling up with INT equips on, increases your MP gained at around 10 extra INT = 1 additional MP on level-up.
According to KeikoTan, you only gain additional MP on level-up for “whole” 10 extra INT points. So you gain 1 extra MP for +10-19, 2 for +20-29, etc.

Now that sounds unremarkable, but if you level with +50 INT, that means you gain an extra 5 MP, so for every 3 levels you level with these equips on, you get an additional HP Wash (Or to be more precise, 5 washes per 12 levels).

Now, level 60 times like that (Or 90, if you start that early), and you’ve got a total of 43 washes you can perform instead of 13.
750 HP gained as opposed to 240.

INT Equip Suggestions
One thing to keep in mind, is that you’re very well off if you have a close LUK-less Mage friend. VERY well off.
I’ll mark the poor-man’s solutions as PM. You’ve got enough NX to HP wash excessively, so go Gachapon yourself some meso. :p

Helms:

  • Zakum Helmet – 15 INT
  • INT-scrolled common Hat – Can even go above 15 INT. Try and get one from a Mage friend.
  • PM – INT Black Bandana (If you were around back when they weren’t Gachapon only) or a Maple Helm (Level 10, 30, 70, ones give 1, 2, 3 INT respectively) or a Pirate Captain’s Hat.

Overalls:

  • An INT scrolled Sauna from a Mage friend. You don’t really have any other options here. You can get upwards of 20 INT from one of these, so make sure to make an effort. And I’m sorry for you female Archers who want to wash, Saunas are practically out of the question.
  • PM – Sorry folks, you’re left pretty high and dry here

Earrings:

  • Earrings can easily go up to 9 INT nowadays at pretty affordable prices. Try and borrow your Mage friends’ Earrings. If you have some REALLY good connections, you can get 12+ INT Earrings. ;)
  • PM – 4-5 INT Earrings are dirt-cheap nowadays, aren’t they?

Cape:

  • Most Mages over 50 use Purple Adventurer Capes, so just INT Capes are pretty cheap. Aim for an 11+ INT Cape.
  • PM – 5-8 INT Capes are very cheap.

Weapon:

  • Ideally, you should have the Goblin Bat (+5 INT), free from the final quest in Korean Folk Town, after you defeat the Goblins.
  • An almost impossible to find +INT common weapon is a scrolled Umbrella, I wouldn’t bother.
  • The lowly Wooden Wand is a common Wand, meaning you can scroll it for INT and get the biggest Weapon-based INT boost from it possible. (Thanks KeikoTan. ;) )
  • PM – +1 INT Pumpkin Basket, and any +2 or more INT common weapons.

Gloves:

  • 1-2 INT Yellow Work Gloves. LUK-less Mages grab these up quick, so try and borrow if you can.
  • INT Scrolled common Gloves. These are extremely rare, if you find one with +3 or more INT, you’re good to go.
  • PM – 1 INT Yellow Work Gloves, sorry folks, not much else in common INT Gloves.

Shoes:

  • +1-3 INT Yellow Snowshoes. No other common Shoes add INT.

Shield:

  • Any common Shield scrolled for INT will do you nothing but a world of good. :) All those other than Stolen Fences, Pan Lids and Common-class Maple Shields need not apply (Thanks again KeikoTan ;D).

Why Wash?
Obviously, more HP means it’s easier for you to survive.
But what good is there to a tiny bit more of HP?
The only times you should HP Wash is if you can (afford to) wash enough to either take an extra hit from what you train on: For instance, getting up to 3.4k HP To be able to safely take 2 magical hits in a row from a Bone Fish (1.65k damage) or over 4k to be able to take two hits in a row from Himes and so on.
Or gain enough HP for better survivability at bosses. With proper INT equips, it isn’t unheard of to reach 4k HP at level 120. That means easy-peasy-lemon-squeasy Pap solos.

For many, the only worthwhile reasons to wash as an Archer are:
3.6k HP – One of the Piani (The left one I believe) does around this much damage, so once you have this much HP, you can solo it safely.
3.7k HP – Being able to safely take a hit from Skelegons (High level Leafre monsters, very good EXP) as well as being able to take 2 hits in a row without dying at Himes. That makes training drastically easier, and makes relying on a Heal-follower Priest possible.
4.1k HP – Being able to tank Papulatus’ bombs, enabling easy solos, or being part of HB-less parties at just about all bosses.

Summary
If you’ve got a lot of real money to burn on AP Resets, and you want to get the most out of your character, go for it. But be advised that unless you leveled with INT equips on, your results will be limited and far from astonishing. You won’t quite reach the goals you set when you started HP Washing (As stated above).

On a side note, this post of LightBravers apparently helps people understand how to HP wash a bit easier, so take note:

Scrolling Guide (by me xD)
The Art Of Scrolling

I am making this opinion guide to teach others how to have a higher success rate in scrolling. But believe it or not, it is your problem. It will not give you a 100% success rate, but maybe a 80%~95% success rate. Sometimes this might not work. It is based on some pro scrollers’ style of scrolling which make their scroll passes and some stuffs known from my friends. I had tried some but not all. And I cant post all those I said as I CANT video & as I had said, I am a retired scroller & I am too greedy that I always pump 30% like mad, so I cant have the evidence you want. But when I have enough funds, I will do so. Hope someone tells me how to get free registered fraps for videoing. No flaming please. Help bump this thread if possible. ^^
I am a retired scroller LOL

1. How to get higher scrolling success rate?

How to get higher success rate in scrolling? This is a question to all. Many people are having their equips blowing up. There is a lot of questions to ponder about. Tell you a secret, the success rate for 30%, 60% & 70% are about the same. They just bear different names, different prices and different stats added. It is hard to get a success on a 10% though…

Scroll slowly
If you put your scroll on the item too fast, the scroll wont succeed easily. Do put it slowly and nicely. Tremble your mouse a little bit if possible but not too much cos it will make it stupid and will not success.

Scroll after another
According to many scrollers(including myself), we normally fails the 2nd scroll after the 1st one. It will pass SOMETIMES. But normally fails or blow. So, we do test scroll first before scrolling.

These are the cases where they hint you about the next scroll. But you must always do scroll testing before this. Read testing scrolls before trying this out.

Case 1: The scroll lights up, but it winds up as if nothing has happened.
This means that the next scroll has a high chance of success.

Case 2: The item is destroyed by the scroll.
This means that the next scroll will FAIL or BLOW! So put a lousy scroll on a lousy equip before scrolling on your desired item.

Case 3: The scroll lights up and the power of the scroll is transfered to the item.
This normally causes the next scroll of the same percentage to fail. It applies to other percentage sometimes.

Too Godly May Blow
Dont try to put the first 4 slots with 30%. It normally BLOWS. It seldom passes for first 4 slots with 30%! It is like using a 10% scroll with a blowing rate. Bear it in mind. First 3 slots with 30% may not always work. But it works sometimes though. If you try to put the first 2 slots with 30%, you MUST scroll a junk after the 1st scroll to give it a higher success rate for 2nd scroll and a lower rate of it blowing. So thats why godly equips are rare. Because the game dont allow too much godly equips.

Using 70%
I dont know why but this is kinda strange… 70% suppose to be a high success rate scroll. But it blows a lot of times. What kinda freak is this? 30% failing rate+50% blowing rate? CRAP! But, sometimes it is easy to have a all 70% passes. It seems like 70% scrolls are “yes or no” scrolls. It either give you great success or great failing.

Note: I always scroll it despite me knowing the scroll will fail. So that results in some fails in my scrolls. SO PATIENCE!!!

2. Testing Scrolls – Good & Bad Luck Scrolling

Coming to the 2nd topic, testing scrolls, which is what many of you are very familiar with. Since many are familiar with this, I wont cover much of it. Just a small guide on this part.

Test Scrolls
What is scroll testing? Some people are asking about this. Testing scrolls is whereby you test the success rate of the next scroll, or testing your luck, which is the next semi-topic. The results of testing is stated on the previous chapter, so just read it up and it is done.

Good & Bad Luck Scrolling
I call this GBL scrolling. You should buy some cheap and lousy 70% scrolls to test your luck on scrolling. I choose 70% because 70% scrolls are cheaper and it comes with a failing rate. You try testing out a weapon or armor using 70% scrolls, preferbly 70% overall/topwear/bottomwear/helmet for defense. They are the cheapest you can get and you can get these “junk” equip in the new Thailand map easily. You test out by scrolling the junk equip using junk scrolls. If you get most of them success, you are having a lucky scrolling day and highly recommend scrolling now if you have the mesos to. Dont blame me if your scroll fails and you turn out more broke which is your problem. If your scroll fails most, I dont recommend you to scroll now cos you will fail your scrolls or even blow your equips. So, test scroll in a few days later until you get a good result.

*Note: The first scroll you scroll in the day normally success but is not 100%.

3. Using 10% Scrolls

Lets talk about the 3rd topic, which is known by me via my friend, kang. He told me this but I am not sure about it as I QUITED scrolling. So why dont you all try this out? I am not sure about it buy please let me know the results.

10% For Success

We can use 10% scrolls to give the next 2 30%/60% a success. According to my friend, he said he always got a success for the next 2 30% after using 10% on the first slot. As I had said, I am not sure about this, so why dont you all try this out on noob stuffs and fill me in? Dont blame me if it doesnt work and the opposite came out.

*Edit: I had tried this and it works pretty well. I used 10% for my 1st slot and 2 60% for my helm. It may work on 60% but not confirmed yet or on other %. I will do more experiment to get the most accurate result.

4. What scrolls are better?

Coming to this, some people wanna know what scrolls are better to scroll. I personally recommend 2 30% for the first 2 slots and follow-up by 60%. If 60% is unavailable for the following type (eg. 60% glove for ma which is very rare & expensive), use a 70% if you dare to. There is no best scrolls to use as each has each’s pros & cons. The final decision is depending on yourself and your funds.
But if the item is a very rare & expensive one, like the newly released Element Staffs, I recommend you to use 60% instead. Or if you are not afraid and very confident, use 30% for the first slot. DONT follow-up with another 30% if your 1st one fails. It is very strange, it normally blows in this kinda case. I cant explain why either, it is just how the game is setted. Maybe rare, expensive & godly stuffs are not for you to make it better?
